With the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 cycle coming to a close, Sledgehammer FPS games reviews has introduced the JAK Voltstorm, the final Aftermarket Part (AMP) appearing in 2023's Call of Duty title. Season 6 saw the arrival of the DTIR 30-06 battle rifle along with a wealth of AMPs capable of transforming the characteristics of a variety of weapons.
The JAK Voltstorm is an AMP for the Stormender , a launcher that fires a small electromagnetic pulse (EMP) capable of dealing huge amounts of damage to anyone who gets too close for comfort. Although the launcher has never featured in the ever-changing meta, it could be a viable option players should consider if they're looking for something outside of the box.

Similar to unlocking other AMPs in Modern Warfare 3 , players need to complete challenges to unlock the JAK Voltstorm . This particular AMP arrived in the fourth week of Season 6 meaning players must complete any five of the Season 6 Week 4 challenges to add it to their arsenal.
Once Season 6 has come to an end, the JAK Voltstorm should slot into the Armory Unlock section . Players who don't claim it by completing challenges can earn Armory Unlock tokens by winning matches.
Considering the JAK Voltstorm is the only attachment available for the Stormender, creating the strongest build only takes a short amount of time:
- Conversion Kit : JAK Voltstorm
Equipping the AMP onto the Stormender gives players a lightning bolt that is capable of hitting multiple targets , improved aiming idle sway , Fpsrealm.Xyz and enhanced hipfire and Tac Stance spread that guarantees high levels of accuracy when firing from the hip.
At extremely close ranges, the Stormender with the JAK Voltstorm equipped can eliminate opponents in the blink of an eye. For Warzone , it may take a little longer to take out any players with a full set of armor plates equipped.
Below is a list of the best perks to equip alongside the JAK Voltstorm in Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer:
Vest : Infantry
Gloves : Commando
Boots : Covert Sneakers
Gear : EOD Padding
Gear : Tac Mask
This combination of perks improves movement speed thanks to enhanced Tac Sprint length in addition to providing additional resistance to lethal and tactical equipment that's guaranteed to land close by during multiplayer matches.
The DTIR 30-06 battle rifle remains a solid option to use alongside the JAK Voltstorm. Its excellent performance at mid-range and long-distance makes it a force to be reckoned with on the virtual battlefield. With a variety of attachments to equip, it's easy to build the rifle to suit all styles of play.
The best perks to use in Warzone haven't changed for the past few seasons. This set of four suits the Stormender and the JAK Voltstorm perfectly:
Perk 1 : Sleight of Hand
Perk 2 : Mountaineer
Perk 3 : Quick Fix
Perk 4 : Combat Scout
This particular perk package provides quicker reload speed, the ability to take less fall damage, faster health regeneration, and highlights the location of the enemy after hitting the target.
The JAK Voltstorm may not ever feature in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 or Call of Duty: Warzone meta but it's certainly fun to use for those wanting an unorthodox weapon to top the scoreboard with.
