The lower pressure at the high-speed water jet pulls the blocking material towards it, dislodging the material from the pipe walls and clearing the blockage.

While advancements in technology have propagated scientifically superior methods, one should also take note of natural, enzyme-based drain cleaners. These not only serve as an environmentally friendly option but also as a testament to the wonders of biological science. These biological cleaners contain concentrated enzymes or bacteria that feed on organic waste materials such as hair or grease, effectively breaking down the blockage over time.
